Almost There...

Good morning friends!

We have seen God do GREAT things this year at NC, and we keep seeing him do even GREATER things through our Annual Christmas Offering. In two weeks, we have recieved over $13,000 toward our $20,000 Goal.

WE ARE ALMOST THERE! Each Sunday we get to add peices to our well to map our progress. Here is what it looks like now.

This years Christmas Offering is funding three things:

1. Clean Water Wells for two villages, $10,000. working with http://www.chairtywater.org/

2. Launching a Food Distribution Ministry in 2012. $5000

3. Throwing a Party for our Community this summer. $5000

Hello New Community...I hope that your thanksgiving was great and that you got to spend time thanking God for all the blessings, big or small, in your life. At our gathering this weekend, we wrapped up our "ONE out of TEN" series with a bang. You can always catch it online at www.newcommuntiyonline.com/resources.

Yesterday, we also launched our ANNUAL CHRISTMAS OFFERING. Each of you should have received a letter in the mail explaining what we are doing this year. If yours hasn't arrived, here is a quick overview. 50% of this years offering will go toward a Clean Water Initiative as we partner with www.charitywater.org. We will essentially provide clean water to villages that will save hundreds of thousands of lives over the next 20 years. Here is the video that compels us to partner with this organization.

Additionally, 25% of our offering will go toward launching a Food Distribution Ministry right here in Jackscon County feeding those who have been affected the most by the recession. And the remaining 25% will fund a Community Party (loving our immediate community with the big and safe love of Christ). Jesus threw great parties for those who were disconnected, we will do the same.

God has always blessed NC exponentially during the holidays and we are anticipating him doing the same this year as we strive to be a generous church. Our hope and prayer is that you and your family will give an additional financial gift to NC as we SERVE OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY and BRING CLEAN WATER TO VILLAGES IN NEED.
